WorkStation Optimizer Features:

WorkStationOPtimizer is an advanced registry analyzer and optimizer, that can boost your computer's performance and improve the overall speed of your system. It offers an extremely powerful and stable scanning technology, and complete protection against data loss during the optimization process. It also features a powerful defragmentation engine, that allows you to improve the access to the system registry by optimizing disk accesses to the files that comprise your Windows registry.

Have you experienced any system errors lately?

same problem every day! One cause of this problem is the system
registry, a part of the Windows operating system that is critical for all
your day-to-day work. These files are being accessed constantly, and
tend to grow in size as more and more applications get installed,
which eventually leads to a huge file on your disk, that could slow
down your computer enormously! Furthermore, it can cause your
computer to show system errors more often than usual!

Spyware Killer

You can... click QuickSCAN to begin a quick scan of your system. While not exhaustive, this is a quick way of determining if you have virus or spyware traces on your computer.

...click Advanced to begin a thorough scan of your system. This will ensure that all problems are found and removed.

...click Custom to choose what folder to scan from your computer for spyware, malware and other threats.

As the scan goes on, you will see a progress report window: that shows you at all times the number of errors found and the scan progress. You can choose to press the Cancel button to stop the scan process. After the scan has finished, you will see detailed statistics about the problems encountered and a one click fix as a next step. We're one of the first to combine an Advanced Spyware Killer with a reg cleaner and optimization tools all in one great application.

Registry Cleaner

The first step when you choose the Registry Cleaner is to select which categories you would like to scan for errors: By default, all categories are selected. We're proud to say that our engine is a world leading custom advanced tool that is unbeatable.

Simply click 'Scan Now '... to begin advanced scanning of your system. This will start the actual scanning process. As the scan goes on, you will see a progress report window that shows you at all times the number of errors found and the scan progress. You can choose to pause the scan at any time by pressing Pause (after which you will have to press Resume to continue scanning), or Cancel the scan. After the scan has finished, your data will be backed up automatically to preventing you from losing any data.

Once the backup process has finished, you should see the scan results: Now simply click the 'Fix Errors' button to repair all the errors and create a backup of all changes made automatically (If something should go wrong or change, you can restore setting with one click - great for troubleshooting).

Backup Registry

This feature allows you to backup your system's registry, or restore previously made backups with the software.

To create a backup, press the Backup Now button. To restore a backup, select one from the list and then press the Restore button.
To delete a backup, select one from the list and then press the Delete button.

This is especially important to anyone that has sensitive data and settings saved for advanced machines. This would include sensitive forex or stock trading machines, anyone using the web to access bank accounts, sensitive email docs, application updates from uncertified publishers, etc.

Defragment

You can choose to defragment the system registry using this feature, and analyze current registry fragmentation: Click the Verify button to verify if the system registry is fragmented or not. If your registry is not fragmented, you should see a screen similar to this one: If your registry is fragmented, you can now choose to defragment your registry by pressing the Defragment button, or Cancel the defragmentation.

Once you choose to defragment your registry, you will have to reboot the computer for the defragmentation to occur - this is caused by Windows locking access to the files that need to be defragmented while your operating system runs. If your registry is not fragmented, you will see a message telling you that you do not need to defragment your computer.

PC Optimizer

Optimize System
This feature allows you to tweak your system for maximum performance, based on your computer's profile. You need to select what best describes your computer from the list present in this dialog box, then click the Next button to proceed further and
examine how your computer will be tweaked, or click the Fast Optimization button to apply the changes immediatly.

Optimize Memory
Your computer needs memory in order to run programs and perform different tasks. Sometimes, your memory gets filled and your computer reacts very slow. This feature allows you to "un-freeze" your system's memory, freeing up as much memory as necessary in order to allow programs to run and perform faster, and in order for you to be able to start and use even more programs.

Block Malicious ActiveX Controls
Our software comes with a full list of known malicious ActiveX controls. These controls, once registered into Internet Explorer, will do harm to your computer or even steal your personal information, such as logon passwords, e-mails, credit card numbers, etc. In order to prevent this, we recommend you select all the ActiveX controls, by checking the Select all items checkbox (all ActiveX controls will automatically get selected in the list) and press the Process All button to protect yourself automatically from these malicious controls.

Evidence Cleaner

This feature allows you to clean the cookies, browser history, temporary Internet files, hidden INDEX.DAT files, browser typed URLs, visited URLs, AutoComplete forms data and passwords for five major browsers: Mozilla FireFox, Internet Explorer, AOL Explorer, Opera and Netscape Navigator.

You can...
...select if you would like to delete all these files using the secure file shredder engine. Check the Clean files securely, overwriting them as many times as below checkbox, then select how many passes to perform for each file cleaned. A pass is equal to one overwrite of the file with random data.

...select the items you would like to clean, from the Please select what to clean screen, then the browsers to clean for (in the Please select the browsers area), then press the Clean Privacy... button to proceed.

File Shredder (Digitally shred files FOREVER!)

This feature allows you to delete files beyond recovery for maximum privacy: (WARNING: This will literally remove files FOREVER, you WILL NOT be able to recover the data EVER again - use with caution).

You can...
...add files to delete by pressing Add file(s)... and selecting the files.
...delete items from the list by selecting them and pressing the Delete selected items button.
...empty the list by pressing the Empty list button.
...perform the shredding by pressing the Shred All Files Now! button.

Manage Startup Items

Using this feature, you can choose to optimize your computer's startup by removing unnecessary programs that boot when Windows starts up.

You can...
...enable a certain program by selecting the checkbox next to it in the program list.
...disable a certain program by deselecting its associated checkbox in the program list.
...apply all changes made by pressing the Save button.

Note: Please be careful when using this feature. Removing certain programs from your Windows startup list might cause your computer to no longer work as expected in certain situations.

Uninstall Programs

This feature will allow you to remove invalid programs from the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel, as well as uninstall existing programs.

You can...
...remove a program from this list (without uninstalling it) by pressing the Remove button.
...uninstall a program from this list (by executing its uninstall command sequence) by pressing the Uninstall button.

Internet Optimizer

You can...select if you would like to delete all these files using the secure file shredder engine. If you choose to delete certain settings for your browser (like cookies), your logons into certain sites will be removed, and you will have to login again. Unregister Internet Explorer plugins from
your Internet Explorer browser. ...select the plugin of interest, then press Remove to remove it from Internet Explorer.

...select the plugin of interest, then press Unregister to try to force it to
automatically remove itself from Internet Explorer (might not always work - if this is your case, try the Remove option). ...choose to optimize your Internet connection in case the program detects it is not optimal. Choose the Optimum Internet settings option and click the Optimize button to optimize your Internet connection. ...restore your Internet connection settings to their default values, by checking the Default settings for my Internet connection option and pressing the Optimize button.

Program Settings

General Options: Automatically run WorkStationOPtimizer on startup Close WorkStationOPtimizer after repair.

Automatically repair items after scanning.

Display splash screen before starting.

Schedule Scan: If checked, it will enable the scheduling (when the settings are saved), which will allow you to automatically perform scans daily, at a predefined hour, weekly, at a predefined hour and day of the week, or monthly, at a predefined hour and on a predefined day of the month.

Ignored Registry Objects. List of ignored registry keys: This is a list of all the ignored registry keys. These keys are not verified whenever the program performs a registry scan. You can remove items from the list by pressing the Remove Selected button, or clear the entire list by pressing Clear All. List of ignored registry values This is a list of all the ignored registry values. These values are not verified whenever the program performs a registry scan. You can remove items from the list by pressing the Remove Selected button, or clear the entire list by pressing Clear All.

Ignored Registry Keys: Enter registry key matches for the program to ignore. Click "Save" when finished. If you want to ignore certain keys or values from your scan, enter them here and press the 'Add To List' button to add them to the ignore list. Any registry key or value that contains the words of the sentence you have entered, in any order, will be ignored from the scan. You can also remove groups of words from the list by pressing the Remove Selected button, or empty the entire list by pressing Clear All.

Spyware Ignore List: Remove Selected Objects: This will remove the items that are checked, in the spyware ignore list, from the list. Select All: This will select (check) all the items in the spyware ignore list. Empty Ignore List: This will empty the spyware ignore list.

Quarantine
Restore Backup: This will restore the currently selected backup performed with the SpyWare Killer module of the program. Empty Quarantine: This will remove all the backups performed by the SpyWare Killer module of the software.
